From Down to Up

Early last year I briefly blogged here and here about moving downstairs to room with my sister since we had guests staying with us. And now 9 eventful months later, we're both moving back upstairs.

The room is now empty except for a bed, our tables, bookshelves above the tables and the wardrobe.

Reasons for moving being that a) we're probably going to have other people stay with us and they wanted the downstairs room and b) rather than move when I get back from Japan, Mum took advantage of our carpet cleaning day to get us to move everything upstairs rather than back into our big downstairs room.

Once a year we have all our carpet chemically cleaned and have pest control done. We've generally always had it done in January since us three kids used to be on school holidays. Plus, Mum could take a few days off so that we could have enough manpower to move everything.

And now I'm back in my childhood room... well, the one I spent the majority of my childhood in.
