Happy New Year

Bye Bye 2006!!

Hel-lo 2007!!

I started the last day of 2006 off with brunch at Roselands with Helen and Ky and then rushed back home since Yi arrived early (not late, not on time but early! =O) to set up for our 2006 NYE bash. It took weeks of organization, hours of stressing and multiple 'reply-all' emails for this one party. I guess it was worth it since we all had a lot of fun and people were even suggesting for it to be an annual thing ie. Mt! Haha, maybe everyone just likes parties hosted by Yi and I? We've had one in each of the past 2 years: 2005 (our bday party) and in 2006 (NYE).

I would've got a group photo taken but I was too busy to bother gathering people together. XD

-Pop the balloon and do the dares in them

-Pass the orange without hands & with neck only
-Taboo
-Twister
-Mahjong (Carmen, Yi, Cam & I = Azn pride peeps!)
-Poker
-Blackjack (with only drinking water & no bathroom trips allowed)
-Sparklers
-Party poppers for midnight
-Movies: Final Destination 2 and DOA
-Sunrise viewing

The Food:
-Pizza (10 of them!)
-Spinach, cheese & sour cream dip + Vienna bread
-Fresh fruit platter
-Apple pie + ice-cream
-Mango pudding
-Krispy Kremes (thanks TK!)
-A crapload of junk food

Highlights:
-Getting hyped with Yi before the party. (watching Spanglish must've contributed to this in some way...)
-Turning plain, old Alfie into our very own Asian Sexay Harry Potter.
-Our team winning at taboo.
-Winning mahjong 5 or 6 times in the duration of the night.
-4 of us girls all tumbling down after 2 instructions in twister (the guys loved this).
-Winning poker and kicking everyone's ass at it even though I'm a n00b.
-Our team winning at sucknblow (thus beating Yi's team).
-Everyone popping their party poppers together at midnight.
-Walking up and down my street with hardly any cars. Yi even laid down in the middle of the road at some point.
-Watching the sunrise with friends.
-Spending the last day of 2006 and first day of 2007 with friends and family.

Haha I just realised I'm replacing one long post full of pics with another! XD Anyways, hope you all had fun, I know I did. It was great to start the year off laughing and hopefully that's how the year will end for me.. who knows?
