Are guys are aware of the effect they have on girls? The ones who are interested in them anyway.
We analyse every look, every touch and every message for signs that this Thing, whatever it is, isn't only one side.
They get giddy when they receive an SMS from you.
And disheartened if there's no reply.
They wonder if they're coming on too strong with the SMSing, chatting, plans to meet up etc. Or if they come off as just plain annoying.
They smile every time a term of endearment is uttered.
Sometimes even counting how many of them make an appearance in a conversation.
It's the effects of the age old question, "I like him but does he like me?"

Guys pretty much act the same.
Its almost a truism:
Girls like guys who don't know they like him.
Guys like girls who don't know they like her.
Guy who's being liked can only ever suspect that they're being liked, until confirmed by a mutual friend who tells him.
Girl who's being liked can only ever suspect/fantasize that they're being liked, until confirmed by a mutual friend or when the guy himself tells her.
only one way to find out.... ASK or make plans:P
although some would say play around with the idea like chucking it in a conversation and see the other persons reaction... but i reckon u can't tell if its a true or false reaction with that method
AHAHAHAH This post sounds very familar :P
yi's advice: JUST TELL THEM
or...
be an idiot and ask, "hey do you like me?"
i would do that =D but then again i'm an idiot.
if they say yes, woopee! if they say no, tell them u dont like them either =D
yeah tina... it does sound familiar. maybe a post about... 2 years ago or something
My mum says "a guy chases a girl until she catches him".
A guy likes the idea of pursuing a girl he think is better then him, somehow above him. But unkown to him, the girl is the mastermind behind his persuit.
My advice to girls: act like someone worthy to be chased.
Hey bon,
This question sounds like its meant for guys xD.
Anyway from experience, I reckon this is a first time for any guys. Takes a few more whacks in the nuts before they'll have confidence in themselves in not self-destructing relationships (i.e friendships) with the people they meet.
Girls would wish guys thought more about their minds first before their hearts.
I reckon this makes life inetesting don't you think? The fact that guys go head over heels over girls. It's a shame us guys don't see this =/
Wow, I'm overwhelmed with the amount of responses to this post!
@Anonymous: yeah that's actually pretty true.... it's always thanks to the mutual friend!
@Terry: Straight out asking is always a big risk. If they say no, then does that mean you've just ruined a friendship?
@Tina: LOL yeah, you had a sneak preview girl! ;)
@Yi: That's what you'd do. Hahaha!! You're the kinda girl that's got the guts to do that!
@Terry: Nup, I've never posted about whether guys know what kinda effect they have on girls who like them. I would know. I've written every one of the past 432 posts!
@Anonymous: A guy chases a girl until she chases him? How does that make sense? =/ Btw, are you the same as the Anonymous at the top of the page??
@Chris: LoL, yes the question was meant for guys to answer. But.. my post wasn't about guys going head over heels for girls! It was about girls going head over heels for guys!!!!
I know I speak for all guys when I say guys only make girls act like so when she is either in the kitchen, laundry, the bathroom, or nursery.
And also when she stays out of the lounge, the study, the barbeque area, the garage, and also the entertainment area unless they are coming from the kitchen.
1) When the guy makes the girl act like so (above), she must.
2) Rinse and repeat 1)
no not exactly. the thing about ruined friendship with guys is it depends on how much they enjoy your company. Girls asking are a real plus for some guys but if you do ask... give the guys time to think because it might not have crossed their mind. However if you have time on your hands then hang out and give hints or look for cues before asking. As for fear of ruining a friendship... its a game of chance. Do you want to take the risk for more happiness and have no regrets or keep the same amount? As for me, i like double or nothing so yeah i go for it:P
